Ivan is Eleven!

July is another birthday month around here.
Hannah on the 14th and Ivan on the 17th.

This year Ivan wanted to have a small party at Dad's cool new business...
Project R!

This is boy heaven!
I asked "permission" from Hannah if we could hold his party on her birthday.
It was a Saturday night and a perfect time to have his friends out to play.
Permission granted!

I made this cake that I found on Pintrest.
Not my best, but turned out okay and it was eaten with gusto, so I suppose it did the trick!

Hannah had other plans that evening, so Jenelle was invited to come along and had a great time!

The real excitement of the party was the racing!

And this sweet little girl in her pink car was such a good sport about getting her booty kicked on the track!
She just laughed a lot and had a great time!

We had prepped Ivan that just because he was the birthday boy didn't mean he would win.
The races were to be held fair and square.
But in the end, turns out that being the so of the owner paid off and he was the winner of the first place trophy.
He was pretty pleased!
A good time was had by all!

The next day Ivan got his big birthday present...a new bike!
His old bmx bike was too small and had no gears...no good for hilly bike rides.

On his actual birthday, Tuesday the 17th, we celebrated without Hannah because she was at camp.
It started with a birthday door decoration surprise...
More presents in the morning...
And for his birthday dinner, he chose breakfast!
Eggs, bacon and potato pancakes with raspberry sauce...on the Celebration Plate!
Happy Birthday Ivan!

Whew!
Done!
Now a few months to rest before Christmas!
